Class A watts vs Class A/B watts
I have never heard the class A Accuphase amps, but a mid power class A/B amp reminded me of some Marantz amps I remember from years ago. It was smooth and musical, but lacked the solidity and sonic architecture of the Macs that I have used. Still,...

Amp recommendations for Revel Salon2
Irvrobinson,You should really listen to an Autoformer coupled McIntosh before you adopt the belief that Autoformers are a waste of weight and money.

Tidal Sunray vs Gryphon Trident

Audiophile Addiction
Kijanki, you also make a good point. I consider my enjoyment of music a separate thing from my interest in hardware, audio magazines etc. Still, I have found that the latter can get in the way of the former.
