What is the current retail cost of your reference system? @bigtwin It looks like @jlchen has Dagostino mono blocks

Budget amp that will give Magnepan 3.6Rs better depth of soundstage @cdavis2260 I believe you could probably use those speakers in your room if you can get the room right as panzrwagn has suggested. I suggest consulting a professional for advice. Jeff at hdacoustics is very good. I was told my speakers would not...
Speaker of My House…! @jomonhifi You will definitely want to add Rockport Avior ii speakers to your list. Or the Cygnus if budget allows. Rockport speakers are amazing and universally praised as one of the best speakers made. Good luck! Ron

Intriguing Speakers From Germany Was the room they were in completely untreated? His voice sounded a like it had some echo in it
I feel bad for Generation X and The Millennial's I must be lucky being born in 1964. My playlist has music from the 60s 70s 80s 90s and 2000s! How could anyone just like a small window of music when so much great stuff is out there. One song will be Zepplin and the next one Gangnam style by Psy!...
Anthem vs Arcam The Marantz 8805 would be worth a look. Great reviews. Good luck !

It seems to me that reflections will alter the sound you were supposed to hear as mentioned above. Not wanting to play the guessing game I had my room designed by a professional and I built i...
Coaxials - Reality vs. Experience? @mulveling Have you compared Rockport speakers to your Tannoys and if so how did they compare? Happy listening!
Qobuz hell My playlist on Qobuz is full of the songs I grew up listening to and a lot of new ones as well from suggestions from members here. I use the BluOS app and it works great. Couldn’t be happier
Is there anything better than live recordings? Studio all the way. Better control over quality of the recording. Live has too much crowd noise etc. |
