Can a speaker just die?
Then again, if you simply had the spade in the 5-Way wrong, somehow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjYoNL4g5Vg
DC meter on power amp
btw:  After you're well acquainted with the amp's presentation, listening to your favorite/most familiar, albums; get one of these and place it atop the power transformer.        Let me know your reaction, if you do.                             ...

One tube has over 10% more B+ than the other, accounting for the difference in balance.                                                                                                                                             "Fixed Bias" mean...
Can a speaker just die?
If you are intrepid and the least bit mechanically inclined: you should be able to open the amp and tighten the 5 Way's mount nut.      Many amp-output wire terminals (usually, "ring" type) are connected to a threaded post, on the amp's speaker ...

Plate current for the 300B is typically around 60mA, but that can vary, depending on the tube (and/or amp) manufacturer’s recommendations.                                                 Please, provide more info, regarding the manufacturer and...

You didn’t specify your amp’s manufacturer.   If those meters are there, for you to determine bias settings: that typically indicates, you’re able to adjust them.   Look for pots labeled, "BIAS" or, "B+", externally, on the amp.                ...
Pass X150.5 or Odyssey Stratos monos?
That faceplate is anodized aluminum.     There’s room for a massive meter, if you can do without the logo and own a Dremel (or access to a Bridgeport).                                          Then too: LED meter kits are available, that offer ...
Can an unused cable break in?
@jea48 -  That you were able to even hint at things, such as wave-particle duality, dielectric permittivity and a, "conductor" actually being a wave-guide, without being assailed (thus far) by the resident pseudoscientists, is fascinating.        ...

"Learn"?      About what ?       How to use one's ears?                                                                           What (and/or: how many) courses must one take, before you'd consider actually sitting down and listening to any pa...

"Do you think that’s all it is, driving a dummy load resistor? you have a lot to learn."         No, but I do believe how any particular amp SOUNDS, is vastly more important than how it measures.      But then, that's just my personal opinion.
Pass X150.5 or Odyssey Stratos monos?
Gotta wonder: how does the Odyssey Stratus Mono SOUND on a test bench?         It's been my experience: dummy load resistors have a very limited frequency response.

The One Note, One Lyric Samba: Yada, Yada, Yada (ad nauseum).
Sony's strange speaker cord
I'm as guilty as anyone; taking the occasional shot, myself.       But only at the obnoxious*, rather than someone interested in enlightenment.                                           *NOT referring to anyone in this thread.   Just in general.
Sony's strange speaker cord
There may (possibly) be some folks out there, just getting started and trying to improve their sound.     Maybe even on a budget?       Tips like the EQ thing are helpful, but: how many here knew how to correctly (?) refer to everything, when you ...
Replacement capacitors exploding
@mahlman-  "With all the non-polar caps out there I have no idea why anyone would do this."     Same here (makes no sense)!                                                                                                                I’ve never...
