How are you hearing no difference?
@cbrents73-   +2(one per post).
How are you hearing no difference?
@dohanian - My solution to the tube/transistor, strength/weakness point, is to actively bi-amp, with SS on the bottom. The results can be wonderful, if it’s done correctly.
Personal vs. Market Values
Gustatory perception varies as much as aural acuity.   If YOU can't taste or hear it(whatever,"it" may be), there's little doubt, it wouldn't be of value TO YOU.
Are you as OCD as this audiophile?
"STUNAD"?? That’s my middle name(favorite form of self-deprecation). Where does that leave them?   Orecchiegats, maybe? Probably, mostly Dunning-Kruger Effected. Easily overlooked, but- detrimental to the advancement of the art/science of sound.

@glupson- Hard telling, what happened to the other two posts.  I deleted one I started, as I wanted to watch the video, in which the neutral prong was mistakenly referred to as the, "hot".   I hadn't, and wanted to be certain I understood what was...

"That’s a polarized device, but many common 15A receptacles aren’t polarized. They have the same width for both hot and neutral blades." AND- No ground. I’m trying to remember the last time I saw an audio component, that was manufactured without a...

I’m trying to understand the, " Because the receptacle he’s looking at is a 20A device. If he puts the wider blade on an otherwise 15A plug, it wouldn’t fit a common standard 15A receptacle." Every, "standard" 15A, grounded receptacle(or plug) I’v...

Outside of having tubed main amps, speaking more about what’s new inside my equipment and using a TL woofer system; that could be me. Well, I just converted from an Acoustat/Maggie/planar worshipper(1980 ’til now), to a Emerald Physics lover, also...

My Amp is Broken - Not Sure What to Do - Any Recommendations?
It was my experience, that William Z Johnson cared very much, about his customers and his corporation. On the other hand; I’ve no doubt Macintosh wishes the corporation(and the competition) never existed, though they now own it.
'Diamond' cantilevers: a man's best friend?
That's what my system needs: a wife with money and good taste.....oh,wait....
Best MM?
The Zephyr Mk III IS, "something else", than a MM cart(and, yes- better than many): https://www.sound-smith.com/cartridges  Watch out for tonearm mismatches, before you pick a cart.
'Diamond' cantilevers: a man's best friend?
"Just cannot accept the MC sound character. It’s significantly distorted from source tape. " Way too many MCs/arms/alignments/loadings, for me to make a blanket statement(though you may have been referring only to the Ortofon). I do also enjoy my ...
'Diamond' cantilevers: a man's best friend?
@invictus- While it may be true, that diamond is heavy, Dynavector has skirted that, by using a very short/small cantilever in their Karats.
