Eggleston speakers perhaps? I own a pair of Eggleston Fontaines and heard a pair of Merlin TSMs a while back and thought they sounded very similar. Simlar drivers too.

Your favorite recent discovery
Mia Dyson from Australia. Two releases I own are killer: "Parking Lots"; and "Struck Down". Would love to see her live. My latest rock chick obsession.

How do you respond to this question?
Easy ... I don't (any longer because I dumped all of my vinyl and table when the amazing new-fangled CD appeared and was tricked into preferring them and now I could kick myself for ridding my life of my vinyl and table ... arghhhh!!!!!)
You know you're an audiophile if--

Is it live or is it?
The last bunch of years I have been disgusted with most amplified live concerts, even most rock concerts. Too bad, as I love listening to live music. But so much of it is poorly amplified and/or mixed I just get pissed off and either suffer throug...
