Where in the US to send my Linn Sondek LP12.
I have a Sondek (among about a dozen other TTs). Learn to do the set up and mods This does not require genius intelligence! Its just a frickin' turntable!
Silly question, but I’ll ask it anyway.
It will work just fine! But the neurotically obsessed wire maniacs will be in a state of perpetual doubt about its "sound"!
Futterman. Jump in? Or, not so fast...
If the price is reasonable, go for it! Futterman OTLs are the Holy Grail of tube amplifiers!  I have three. A Harvard Music H3 using four 6HB5's per channel and a pair of H3aa's using six 6LF6's per mono amp. I have two pairs of Quad 57's and a pa...
MYSTERY DYNAVECTOR KARAT 23R
I have the same Karat Ruby. And a Dynavector 20A. The A stands for an aluminum cantilever. Your 20B has a beryllium cantilever. That type I owned back in 1978. I used it briefly before buying a lomc.
Finally bought a new Turntable!
Get a good step-up transformer. That is what I always use with mc cartridges. Lower noise floor and increased dynamics! The Bellari SUT is a good recommendation (I have one, along with a Mike Sanders and several others).
I need advice for power cords
Like a fancy and pricey watch on your wrist - power cords! Like interconnects, just jewelry!
AT 33SA or OC9 for 1200 mk5
Hana LS!
You could work for any manufacturer, past or present...
James Bongiorno of SAE, Dynaco, GAS, Sumo and SST fame!
Hybrid tube / SS system
Tekton Impact Monitors would be a significant upgrade over the CV's! And quite affordable! Pair them with a Prima Luna integrated tube amp for a bit of audio heaven!
Miles Davis tonight on PBS!
I saw it an hour ago on PBS 3.1 broadcast from Tampa. Excellent overview of Miles's life and career! Recommended!

Old FM Tuners....O.K., Great or Folklore...
I also have a Carver receiver with the same FM circuit. And a NAD 1600 preamp/tuner.
Old FM Tuners....O.K., Great or Folklore...
Presently have the Mitsubishi (Diatone) DA-F10 (1977) tuned to WUSF 89.7. A real "sleeper" tuner with advanced circuitry and can be found for less than $200! Sound quality equal to tuners costing 10X!
Old FM Tuners....O.K., Great or Folklore...
I have several, including a McIntosh 77 and a Scott tube tuner. But in my area (Tampa/St.Pete) there are only two FM stations with a signal/music program worth listening to. WUSF 89.7 (NPR and late-night Jazz) and WSMR 89.1/103.7 (NPR Classical). ...
