Morph The Cat-Bass Notes End of thread dude. I'm sure A'goners are as tired of reading this as I am of participating in it. And please stop sending harassing personal e-mails. I'm sure this is a misuse of Audiogon policies. Sales must be pretty slow for you to devote so m...
Morph The Cat-Bass Notes Forrestc,Thanks for your input on this. The thing is I never said I liked this CD. It's alright but I prefer "Nightfly" of Fagens three. "Kamakiriad" is totally bland. All remind me of Steely Dan meets the Dale Warland Singers to some extent but t...
Morph The Cat-Bass Notes Mr. Feil,I have initiated many threads and responded to many others on Audiogon. I have always attempted to employ common courtesy in my posts. I do not attack others for their opinions or beliefs. I do not belittle others for their choice of equi...
Stealth Varidig Sextet Break In Period? Dev,Thanks for your response. No, I wasn't taking anything personally. Obviously, we have had differences with our Sextet break-in experience. I can't offer any explanation for this but I truly believe that both our opinions are valid. As I said, ...
digital cable I was merely suggesting that balanced digital cables should be audutioned as well as single ended. I never said one was always superior to the other. Don't you think this would be prudent? Maybe even some BNCs.Audiofeil, try not to get your underw...
Morph The Cat-Bass Notes Well all I can say is; your opinion must be right and mine must be wrong. After all, you are a dealer and an arrogant one at that!
Stealth Varidig Sextet Break In Period? Dev,I mis-spoke. I just looked and my Stealth XLR terminations are titanium, teflon and silver not graphite. Sorry.
Stealth Varidig Sextet Break In Period? Dev,Yes there was a certain sharpness when my Sextet was new that seemed to lessen with time. However, there was never what I would call a dramatic change (in my system). This was a new cable purchased direct from Stealth with the proprietary grap...
Stealth Varidig Sextet Break In Period? Krellman,How long did it take to break in your VD Rev.Sig. digital cable? I'm currently using a balanced Varidig Sextet which I like very much but have just won a balanced VD Rev.Sig. on Audiogon auction. After I compare them one of them is going ...
Modern day Classical Orchestra recommendation... I'm gonna be a homie and suggest some of the recent releases from the Minnesota Orchestra. I don't think you'll be dissappointed.
digital cable Hale,If you have XLR connections on your units I would definitely give a balanced cable a try. Many times the XLR sounds better than the RCA. Most brands of digital cables come either way. Just a thought. Good luck.
which is better speaker cable Kenbo,I agree with Nglazer, your equipment deserves some higher price spread. You've got some top drawer stuff there. It should be connected with same. As to brand, that needs to be your choice through auditioning. May I suggest The Cable Company ...
Morph The Cat-Bass Notes Dtronvig,Thanks for your post. That's the information I was looking for. Might be a good CD to take to a speaker audition.
Stealth Varidig Sextet Break In Period? Krellman,Please post your impressions of the Stealth sextet compared to the VD Rev.Sig. digital cable. It will be very interesting to see how these two stack up against each other. The VD Rev.Sig. vs new VD Rev2 would be another interesting match u...
Best analog sounding cd player under 5K I have not heard it but the EAR Acute CDP seems like it might be worth investigation. HP has written about it in TAS and Robert Levy gave it a great review in Positive Feedback (issue 27). Price is in upper range of your budget but as high end CDP... |
