@ghdprentice and @rocray - yes, I will report once I’ve done what @tomic601 said, cut trail…try it out… @knighttodd - you may not have the tools right now, but a straight edge and a jigsaw or a power saw and straight edge, will get timber cut up ...

@knighttodd - perhaps we understand the naming of the walls a little differently? The front wall to me, is the wall I am facing when listening to music coming out of my speakers. The back wall is behind me, which sees the most on axis first reflec...

@knighttodd - disclaimer: I haven't actually heard them in my room as yet. I do  have a thread about them, and the claims of use is on the website I listed above. They look the business lined up, fingers crossed on sound.

@knighttodd - if they work in making your system sound any better, I for one would like to know about it??!!! I've just been building these, they're four inches deep and I still haven't put a finish on the first six I have made. I need a whole lo...
Anyone else here interested in, or built, or even heard Folded Well Diffusers??
@brunomarcs - ok, so the first diffusers I built were Denis Foley’s Acoustic Fields QRD17, I have two glued up, four cut out. However these folded well diffusers are a slightly different animal, and I have only got a 24’ by 15’ room. Because of t...

@brunomarcs - I just also considered using popsicle sticks with the well width as the length cut, it would probably help to go from one side to the other and use them to prop it back into shape, for little investment?

@brunomarcs - I have made QRD17 also out of cherry wood. When I re-sawed the beams into the dividers I ran them on a joiner each time to get a perfectly flat surface to run along the guide, and still it wanted to bow a little. Certainly not what y...

Inexpensive speaker cables: any experience?

Car streaming blues, ain’t marketing great
The device I suggested uses a stereo microphone and has capacity for full time alignment of up to eight programmable channels, high, low and band pass. If the SUV is the devil's work, a time aligning dsp for car is heavenly.

@celtic66  does it happen to have RCA female output plugs on the back? I ask, because if you could bypass the amplifier stage on the unit, you might be able to use something like a used JBL-MS8 to integrate it?
Unpowered Sablon USB Cable, how to add power line
+1 docknow Looked it up, yes I would suggest this could be a great solution without needing to open up the USB plug and soldering in a plug and lead to accept 5VDC input. In terms of absolute fidelity, it would be more work to dismantle the USB c...

holmz, yeah how could I have left out the salties (that’s Australian for salt water crocs). Coral snakes and sea snakes won’t likely bother you, they can’t swallow you whole, and if there’s pieces they could swallow whole, they’re the least of you...

Yes but holmz - if you can swim to Australia, past the sharks and box jelly fish, they'll put you on the Olympic swim team!
Great speaker sounds terrible in my room?
@jjss49 ok, yes understood. I PM'd you about your Delphi mkIII.
