Bi-wire speakers and bi-wire cables?
I will say one or the other but not both at the same time.  You could use the biwired cables connected to one pair of terminals, either high or low, with the jumpers connected.
LowFi: Denon Home 250 or Bluesound Pulse Mini
I have a Pulse Flex 2i.  I have no complaints about the sound. I like the 5 presets plus volume control so there is no need to use another device for control unless so desired. The compact size is also a plus.  It is easy to move from room to room,...
Media cabinets like BDI but not as expensive
A good cabinet will cost a fair amount no matter how much you don’t want it to. You can see the BDI design I chose for my mountain home in my systems page.  I recall paying around 1100.00 for it.  I purchased it with other furniture so I got a dec...
Bluesound node 2i
I have a Vault 2 which by necessity is wired.  Sounds great.  In another system I have a Node 2i run wireless on the 5ghz band.  Sounds great.
It was 20 years ago today...
January 30th 2001 was the date I joined.  I don’t get to listen that much anymore since suffering chronic migraines a little over three years ago.  I’m facing the unfortunate reality that I need to get rid of a lot of gear.  It’s a tough decision ...

Push/pull el84 tube amps don’t create much heat.  You don’t need much power with your speakers.  10-15 watts is about average for this type of amp.  Manley made some really good mono amps.  An integrated such as Leben should work.  EL84 tubes are ...
Connecting Bluesound Node 2i Questions
Why not operate wireless?  I have a Node 2i and Pulse Flex 2i, and both perform flawlessly wireless.
Distance between speakers - are the physics what they are?
You might be surprised by what a single mono powered speaker will accomplish in a space like that.  I use a Bluesound Pulse Flex 2i.  It has a built in streamer and 30W amplifier plus it’s wireless other than a power cord.  It doesn’t occupy much ...
Integrated advice for B&W 705's
My recommendation is Wyred for Sound.  I have two pairs of B&W speakers, Nautilus 802’s and Concept 90’s.  Both sound best with the ST500.  W4S also makes some integrated amps.
Any Robertson Audio 4010 owners on Agon?
No experience with your amp, but on a product that old, it likely has a bulb in the switch instead of an LED.  The bulb will generate heat.  Another possible factor is the switch circuit.  The switch might be wired to full current rather than a re...
best streamer for Amazon Music HD
Amazon is a listed music service in the BluOS app.  Once signed into your Amazon account via the BluOS app, you will be able to choose that service each time without signing in again (as long as your subscription is valid of course).Control would ...
Why does streaming need to be so complex
Just buy the Bluesound and enjoy the music.  As you stated it does everything you asked for except for costing $1500.00.  You have an external dac that you can choose to use if you want.   ???
Need to adjust the speed every time I turn on turntable
As I stated before, replace the controller.  The motor is likely ok.
Need Perfect Speakers for Acoustically Hostile Placement
My thoughts would be to go “mono” since you’re all over the place therefore unlikely to benefit from stereo.  An all in one powered speaker that can be controlled through an app is an option if there is a way to get power. The right tool for the jo...
how hook up bluesound node 2 to external dac
Laptop for the app why would you want to do that?
