Subwoofers with room correction built in?
It's good to know that there are external DSPs that can be had for reasonable prices, but right now I'm primarily interested in hearing from those who have had subs w/ the feature built in.  Anybody else care to share?
Why have capacitors improved so much over the years?
@cakyol so you think it's all hype?
Two amps, one preamp, one sub…
@cleeds good point, thanks. Makes sense.

@oldhvymech - my DIY skills are pretty limited so far, but I'm sure this would be a worthwhile approach.@erik_squires thanks. I know JL is the real deal, but I have high hopes for the elac due to Andrew Jones involvement.

Tweeking my Mytek Brooklyn DAC
Don’t forget break-in as a factor too, but a good power cord is a good tweak by itself.

PS audio new 25K dac and the psychological effect of owning a company's best.
Forgive a company for going all out once in a while on a statement product. You all should probably hear it before judging. It will either be way better than the DSD dac or it won’t, but if it is, there will be a market.
Why have capacitors improved so much over the years?
Specifically, though… Any amp builders or speaker builders to describe the tech?
Before I order the Magnepan 1.7s...
For amazing sound, classic design, and beautiful finishes, consider the graham audio ls5/5.  Price about $20k.  Need a little room to breathe like most speakers, but they look great in my modern design living room.
