Roon for high end audio?
Roon is a wonderful high end service for usability and sound quality. I use it to access Qobuz and tidal subscriptions in hi-res and access files stored on a hard drive (which in my case is in a custom Roon server/computer). Roon itself will not h...
Very new to high end audio - Recomendations
Get familiar with hifishark.com before buying any used gear. Searches multiple classified sites and logs previous sales. I love that website!
More watts or better power ?
I'd vote for better dac and or nice silver interconnects. They will allow you to really see the potential in the bigger components, in my opinion.
Different subwoofer settings for different albums?
@hilde45 -- look this was a private conversation with this dealer and I didn't provide him any indication I would be broadcasting any of his personal opinions by name on a public forum so I just feel weird about doing so.  PM me if you want more i...

@twoleftears yeah, that review got me thinking about this concept again... I found it quite encouraging, but wanted a bigger sub that I could get a deal on.

Subwoofers with room correction built in?
@deadhead - I just didn’t want to spend the $ for JL right now, but I know it’s got a well regarded DSP.  Maybe someday.

@pedroeb - that b&w software looks great. Hadn’t seen that one before.
Subwoofers with room correction built in?
@jrpnde - I’ve had subs in my system before, but that was before I had my system dialed in he way it is now.  I had in order rel t9i and rythmik 15, both nice subs, but manual adjustments were just too much trouble, even after taking a methodical ...
Subwoofers with room correction built in?
@docknow and @doctors11 -- I hadn’t considered a Martin Logan sub -- thanks for the tip. Glad to hear the room correction is seriously helpful.  Interestingly, the balanced force sub has two drivers in opposition like the elac.
Subwoofers with room correction built in?
It's good to know that there are external DSPs that can be had for reasonable prices, but right now I'm primarily interested in hearing from those who have had subs w/ the feature built in.  Anybody else care to share?
