Update on Audiogon Member Almarg
I always have enjoyed reading Al's posts and admired the grace with which he shared his wisdom. Thank you Al. God bless you.
Whats playing on your system today?
The Tragically Hip - Day and Night Half Speed Mastering.  Excellent recording. Reasonably priced at Amazon, get it before it runs out.
Caveat about the Cable Company return policy
@ehoz - I'm telling you they're like used car salesmen at the Cable Company.  I don't get why people still support companies like this.  Who cares about a interconnect library, especially given the fact that you have to pay full retail once you de...
Turntable isolation platforms
I had acoustic feedback with my Kuzma Stabi R Tt sitting on a HRS R1X platform (on an Usher Audio Rack on suspended wood floors).  I called HRS and they suggested that I get low frequency replacement feet. Cost me around $500 for the feet and it d...
Audio Research Sold
I heard that ARC couldn't stand the good looks of McIntosh and McIntosh was always jealous of how good ARC sounded.  It was a mutual split.
Qobuz or Tidal?
My streamer encodes MQA, but Qobuz was cheaper by $100.  Hence went with Qobuz.  It does miff me that they don't have The Lumineers.

Sub Sonics and woofer pumping
I had a similar issue with my Kuzma Stabi R turntable that was on a HRS platform sitting on an audio rack.  I was getting acoustic feedback resonance between the audio rack and the turntable causing the woofers to pump heavily as soon as the needl...

Why are modern arms so ugly?
Kuzma 4P looks Dart Vaderish - I kinda like the way it looks.
Townshend Audio Podiums - current owners opinion on the merits of this product
@garebear  - where are you on your search? I recently got a pair of Townshend Podiums for my Rockport Atria speakers - directly from England, so I wanted to provide you my experience/thoughts. What the owners have said in their posts above is what...
~$15K floorstanders: opinions sought
Rockport Atria - terrific sounding speakers.
Built a DIY butcher block and iron pipe rack over the weekend
You da Man!
Cheap/expensive or expensive/cheap?
Good discussion - but you can't squeeze blood from a turnip. Cheap systems have their limitations, that's why they're cheap.RK
