Looking for a "dark" sounding xlr ic....? Cardas Golden Cross, warm and rich.
Harmonic Technology Cyberlight cables No such thing as a perfect cable. System match will always be an issue just like the best cables out there. If your system is a little bright you will hear that with a neutral cable and end-up trying to find a cable that corrects the problem. HT h...
Short XLR Connectors??? "proprietary XLR". :) Those are "Cannon" type XLR plugs. Cannon is the original XLR done many years ago.
Speaker cable upgrade please help........ Welcome to the club. I suggest you read this Forum to learn. Many folks here can give you their opinion but that is just a "ballpark". My theory is the better the system, the more cables make a difference. You don't need to spend mega-dollars on c...
Has anyone compared the following cables please? Hard to get it all. I have used Pure Note, Audience, and Nordost. Pure Note had the closest to what you are looking for, detail with smoothness. Cardas Ref. is warm but bloated as a comparison. YMMV. FWIW.
Xindak cables: how good are they? I agree, not great. I would place the speaker cables in a class with Monsters. Not a big fan of supporting China either.
Hi Fi burnout. I just listen after 30 years of upgrading. Now I blow all my money on modding Corvettes, just as bad.
hospital grade or commercial grade receptacles ? Hard wire is best!
Why no mention of "Stereovox" cables?? Love the connectors. Wonderful cables but I cannot afford them.
Who Owns Pure Note Cerulean Cables??? I agree with Togo. The Cerulean cables are a great improvement over the Epsilons. They are very neutral and focused. I own both the ic's and speaker cables. IMO, nothing comes close to the Ceruleans especially in their price range.
entry level Discovery or Audience products..... Discovery. Joe has been making great cables for many years. They were my first cables about 10 years ago, the original orange ones.
tara labs time and space..... Good imaging IMO. There are better products now.
Pure Note Cerulean TG Audio is Bob Crump. He is a pioneer in cables dating back to the 70's. He has been around far longer than Ridge Street or Pure Note. He has many followers. Do a search on Crump and you will find much info.
Pure Note Cerulean I find it amusing that a Pure Note topic always includes RSA/RidgeStreet, as if there are no other players. I own Pure Note cables but also like TG Audio, Siltech, etc. I guess those companies are above all this. |
