Current draw from an MIT Z Stablizer ll
Thanks Kijanki. That's why I originally had a 'noise reducing & conditioning system' by MIT- that was very effective in its day. An isolater, a filter & power factor correction. Knowledge and technology has come a long way but noisy power ...
Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
Rhyno I'm not sure what you mean by "wall plates" and AC "distribution boxes". I agree on the Equitech's grounding information.
Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
Thanks Dave.
Equitech with digital only?
Hi Knight. Why do you call it active? What was the main benefit when you plugged your dac into the digital outlet?
Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
Thanks Dave. Interesting but I think far from complete analysis. There are probably more technical articles worth reading-if one knew where to find them. I think I will open the player and observe/feel for points of vibration and possible improvem...

Grab it. 1/2 price-effectively brand new. Their loss is your gain. Your warranty is from the same group that makes JBL, JBL Professional, Revel, Mark Levinson, Lexicon,DBX and numerous other professional products. These are the big boys and they h...
When is digital going to get the soul of music?

Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
I don't understand why dead level is so important. It doesn't seem to matter to a gyroscope? I like the cork idea. Probably could serve more than 1 function.
Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
ZD. I put a heavy book on a marble tile (on a piece of heavy cloth to protect the player)(no cones) on my Lexicon RT-20 and have been "very" pleasantly surprised. I was using a very "average" CD-- Portrait of John Williams (MK37791)-- as my test.T...
Digital Source Conditioning??
Your amp and pre sound happy to you only because you haven't heard the transformation good isolation/conditioning can make.If you're happy leave them alone; just deal with the digital.
Power Conditioning for digital source;
Jedinite. Have you tried putting the Enacom AC filter into the Belkin noise isolater? My experience with the AC Enacom is it's worth experimenting with location. They can have a very nice effect. (I wouldn't sell mine- even though I have other exp...
Power Conditioning for digital source;
Maximum ac line noise isolation from digital device. As much isolation as possible of your digital from all analogue.Check out what balanced power does and who is using it on the Equitech site. I have no affiliation with any manufacturer orany oth...
Mass and vibration cancelling on top of CD player?
I've found at my modest listening levels my Lexicon RT 20(electrically well isolated and conditioned) does not vibrate from the bookshelf speakers I am using( and there is 16 feet from the speakers to my solid hi fi stand (wood); but, it does vibr...
