Network optimization for serious streamers @singingg Exactly the kind of knowledge sharing the great majority of us are looking for here. Thank you very much.
Network optimization for serious streamers @grannyring So true. Enjoying this thread for the multitude of experiential sharing. Just ignore what is not profitable and let's keep the thread moving. With the amount of recent threads on Networking here on the 'Gon, it is obvious that th...
Network optimization for serious streamers @agirard As @lalitk, I totally agree with your statement on 01-22-2023 at 07:49am, "while we may disagree with other's opinions', we can't disagree with their experience". This is the approach we all need to take. Instead of using logic on paper...
Network Acoustics Eno Streaming System vs SGC Optical Isolation System @lalitk @charles1dad The Linkup Cat 8 cable pictured above is what I've been using for over one year now. As Lalit says, it is better than Supra 8+. For me, it is no contest, Linkup is superior; better bandwidth, smoother and more revealing, a...
Grimm MU1 Streamer - Really "The Best"? @dabel Thanks for updating me on Steve. Hope he is doing well and will pursue his plans; I'd bet it'll really benefit the industry if he does.
Cheapest but good cables…. Another vote for Audio Envy. Only used their power cables, P2 and M3, but they are very flexible and sound fantastic. In my case, they beat $1k power cables that are just gathering dust now and need to be sold.
Innovative Autio in NYC just hung up on me Jays Audio Lab is also a dealer for Stromtank, if that hasn't already been mentioned.
Grimm MU1 Streamer - Really "The Best"? @nyev Your post at 01-13-2023 at 12:19am discusses USB cable length. Steve Nugent of Empircal Audio, aka Audioengr here on A'gon, used to discuss the USB cable length question as it was often brought up. He has been around for some time, but ha...
Why are so many people spending so much money to build “perfect” streaming system? @walkenfan2013 I agree with many contributors here. The point is not about how much money is spent, or can be spent, but how little that can be spent and how that will open up a world that is so enjoyable. Until around 4 years ago, I avoided s...
New DAC or New Streamer? While Taiko did use Roon, it moved on to TAS, and is now in the process of completing the very purpose-built XDMS software, which essentially all users who have it say it is easily the best software for the Extreme - XDMS is I believe not in fully...
Streamers and their Fuses Very interesting thread. Will be following along.
Primaluna. Evo 400 - bass issues I'd first recommend contacting Kevin Deal at Upscale Audio. He can help you with all things PL. Have you tried to move the speakers much closer to the rear wall? Have you tried to move them much further into the room? These tests will help you to...
So, I listened to a $1Million Dollar System Wilson and D'Agostino are a known synergizing configuration. Not heard that with a loom of Transparent wire though. But I've heard plenty of $1M+ systems and some are very lack luster while others will knock your socks off. One of the best was the...
Aurender N20 @nmcc0866 Roon is indeed irreplaceable for many. See this video with Ari from Aurender. He explains the Aurender lineup and he also explains their choice not to use Roon. (57) In Stereo with Mike & Rick - Episode 4 - Ari Margolis with Auren...
