"There's no obvious visual spot at the pivot point on an RB600 so here's what I do: stick a small piece of Scotch tape on top of the arm tube, above the pivot point you just identified. Mark a dot above the pivot point with a pen. Swing the arm a ...

it's either general laziness or the idea that since we read left to right, it's to force the person to read through every time because, unless you are illiterate, the ads can be read (but I would admit that it takes some concentration). would I pr...
Primaluna Two : cables, tube rolling ...
My comment was more comments that addressed the honesty of the company as it appears to me. If I had heard the GT, I would have given my personal comments on it like I did the pre/driver tubes. Do these "exact replicas" really put out 50 watts a t...
Primaluna Two : cables, tube rolling ...
I think Groove Tubes are questionable. In particular that they claim their tubes to be "an exact replica" of Genelux (Genelux? Who's "Genelux"?). Errr! Sorry! They are not even close to being replicas! None of these tubes are. http://www.groovetub...
Primaluna Two : cables, tube rolling ...
Well, here's my input. I haven't been a cable believer but I tried the affordable Grover Huffman's RCAs (UR5 model) from the Primaluna to the Dynavector P75 phono stage. Let's just say that I am a cable believer now. 2006 agenda is to look into ge...

The end of LP collecting????
I'll admit my wording was too strong but I simply don't find it attractive. You're either in it for the music or not. Profit should be the least concern if not nil concern but one post indicated it was the central concern so I thought I would offe...
Rega P25, would it sound better than my CDP?
agent, I'm not sure what you mean. when I setup carts, I try several different protractors and simply use the one that sounds/tracks the best.

Rega P25, would it sound better than my CDP?
I agree Seandtaylor99. It depends. That's why I posted an alternative opinion but yes, I should have stated this. New Vinyl? Yeah, depends on what you listen to. Redone classics cost a lot of money but new music, new vinyl is relatively the same a...
Rega P25, would it sound better than my CDP?
My rather opinionated take:The cd player will sound less "open" than the properly setup P25 thereby making the cd sound dull in comparison. Call that distortion or whatever, it just sounds better. PRAT will be good on the table. Regas excel at thi...
What Turntable to buy under $600 ?
Yeah, a Moth table. Go to BritAudio.com and get one of his modded Moth tables. You will get unquestionable service and help. And a great table. I'm not affiliated - just one suggestion.
