Anyone else upset about new Audiogon policies?
Audiogon is a business, sure it not like it was 20 years ago where they were being ripped off by sellers, who sell, then be able to change the ad with another new product and sell it again for free, so new owners if I recall put safe guards into t...
Best Power Cable for Luxman D-08u SACD player.
JPA 1500 is a great power cord, not your usual stock good, this same cord power Luxman Class A power amps also. So it can pass some serious current. I found recently the Audioquest Blizzard working very well with front-end gear and the Marantz SA-...
The Spatial Audio M Series Sapphire Loudspeakers reviews ! Best Kept Secret
I own the M3 Sapphires and once broken in they sound great, but if you own a tube amp make sure you use the 4-ohm outs, as well as SS McIntosh with the Autotransformers. They go from very good to outstanding, the only thing to remember you will ha...
What amp to match with Spatial Audio M3 Sapphire open back speakers
I should have added if you have a tube amp or a McIntosh tube or solid-state amp the 2,4,8-ohm outputs, the 4-ohm outputs make the Sapphire M3's sing like no other. The 8-ohm tap sounds louder, but it throws off the wonderful balance tone of the s...
Why not more popular?
I've owned many good speakers from the DQ10 days, and yes they could do bass if you had a big enough amp, say the Threshold 400A they could sake the room, to Dynaudio Confidence speakers, ProAc, and Quad ESL's. I decided to try the Spatial Audio M...
Audioquest Thunder and Tornado HC Power Cords
Amp is directly in the wall, front end gear in the P-12. Blizzard and Monsoon on the front end gear. Trying to figure out the best spot for the tornado and Thunder. I like the Blizzard on the preamp, I know this for sure, Monsoon on the SACD playe...
AQ Blizzard or Thunder?
Into my amp but then I like the Tornado there also. I will add 1 Blizzard to the front end then give the system a listen and then decide where to use what. I like the Blizzard a lot for front-end gear.
AQ Blizzard or Thunder?
I own them and they are ultra low noise design, I hear zip but pitch black backgrounds with the DBS in use. Use the cables as designed.
Reccomend a good preamp for me.
Find a preowned Luxman C800F and you're done, does not sound like a solid-state or tube sound, just natural and ultra low noise design and built to last forever.
Power regenerator vs conditioner
I tried many over the past 15 years and I landed on a newer designed PS Audio regenerator P-12 for my front-end gear and it is the best sounding one I’ve heard from any passive, isolation transformer design like the Furman Reference 20i which I li...

Audio envy - dang!
I own a lot of Audio Envy cable. And my comments were meant as my process of music enjoyment, I still have the cables in my system and letting them further burn-in, I purchased several cables from online sellers, not from AE. The resale prices wer...
Down to two ? Shunyata Delta NR or Audioquest Thunder?
Audio Envy cables and you are done if you allow them to burn-in.
Upgrading Speaker Cables: Wireworld Silver Eclipse or Transparent Audio Ultra?
Wireworld Silver 7 power cords sound totally different with the upgraded connectors, night and day different. Tells you how much the connector ends impact the sound. Having said that which one you like would depend on your system and room acoustic...
Audio envy - dang!
Tried AV cables, they are voiced to what Captin feels is correct. I found them thin in the needed bid-bass and lacking deep bottom end and overtones, the cables are an upper midrange up the sound which of course will sound more open, and detailed ...
