The Lp stemmed from an era where individuals set aside time to listen to music...and not just audiophiles...folks with meager systems as well...it morphed a bit in the 70s when classic rock ruled the airwaves...and music became more social than so...

Another one bites the dust has world class production...it is disco Queen which may turn some off...but stellar sound. 
What is the best HEAVY METAL speaker?
Something that has a smooth, grain free top end and a warm midbass...vintage Infinity...also Klipsch have that boogie factor if one can deal with a more forward sound.

Probably not...the era of actually dedicating time to listen to an Lp side uninterrupted not to mention physically playing a record...although not extinct...is a somewhat forgotten, nostalgic time for most... even with those that grew up with lps....

Second U2...outside of Achtung baby...not real sonic marvels.Boy remaster is an improvement. Never been happy with JT.

Life's rich pageant does have a special place...came out in 86 I believe...my first year of college...U2; Cure, and Rem all came out of this collegiate era and were able to go mainstream with the help of mtv and FM radio...back in the late 80s ......

Buy mono recordings or a preamp that has mono switch...from your tastes and sonic preferences...mono recordings would be your cup of tea...strong center image without the severe L -R panning early stereo releases had...although not all mono record...
