Speakers that have holographic imaging on vocals..
Jazz..point well taken...but speakers excel in different areas....and voices...which are kind of the reference point for imaging...are difficult to "nail"...whenever I audition...I opt for vocals first...kind of back to the basics...Thiel and Reve...

Also...Von Schweikert have a new monitor..the VR-1...which is about 1k..havent heard it...but this is a highly respected brand....worth a listen...chances are u will not have to upgrade any time soon....

Both of your initial interests are highly regarded monitors...I am more familiar with the Revels since my local dealer carries them...they are a very clean,revealing,clinical type of speaker...and componet matching is very important....others have... 
Most underated albums......
Tweak...as a Zep freak ..."Presence" is highly overlooked...and void of Goblin,Fairies,and Elves references...I also have to nominate the last decent Stones album..."SOme girls"....and since Im in a cock rock mood...Ac/dc's "Flick of the Switch"

Sean...good to know that there are still people with "superior" tastes like ourselves..HA!...the only problem...my new system is a bit unforgiving in nature...more so than I anticipated...and some of my favorites listed are exposed warts and all.....

THe dynaudio 50/52s you listed are absurdly good for the money...their hand-made drivers are found in more pricey speakers such as the Totem one...and their danish build quality is legendary...at around 5-600$ used...these are a steal...

For underated reggae...Black Uhuru "sensimilla" gets my vote...more extended dub sound...with classic echoey vocals,L to R panning,and some interesting production effects...only downside to alot of dub music...the bass seems to be recorded a bit "...

I will admit...this probably wasnt my most well conceived post...I was just trying to stimulate some dialogue...at any rate...now that I look back...most of these releases are pretty old and in some light probably received the attention they deser...

I would take another dealers thoughts on a brand he doesnt carry with a large dose of salt...a friend of mine has the 1.6s which are amazing speakers...regardless of price...I would suggest taking the drive to hear Maggies...and bring your credit ...
