Lightning quick DYNAMIC amp in the under $1000 range
OMG - my recommendations are so far above emotiva, outlaw, etc.  Different class altogether.
Lightning quick DYNAMIC amp in the under $1000 range
I have owned the Stratus, and while I think it’s an excellent amplifier, I would not call it fast. I think the BEL and the Aragon would be better in that regard.

These are older, but they are great values:BEL labs Aragon 2004 I admire both of these amps. Anyone else have experience with them?
Best Bass Amp!

Does anyone have a Schiit Yggy DAC?
Go to Home Depot (or Amazon) and get an IR thermometer.  Or use a “killawatt” to measure idle power consumption.
I want to be moved and have the music touch my soul!
So it sounds like you thought the crossover was deleterious. Is that correct? It allows seamless integration with subs, but at a price. Correct?

I’m curious.  When you take the crossover out of the system, do you notice any change in transparency when you take out the crossover for the sub?  I have yet to use a crossover that didnt affect transparency.

Maybe hipnosis would be a cheaper way to enjoy the music then gear!

Long-Term Amp Storage Without Use: Bad Idea???

Review ATC SCM 40 A floorstanders.....finally
What are considered the best ATC floorstanders, both overall and bang for the buck?   I am very much enjoying my passive SCM-11 v2.
Multichannel Class D amplifier for multi-room sound
I bet that would be a good option.  Parasound is $1200 for 6 pairs of speakers. Anything better bang for the buck out there?
Multichannel Class D amplifier for multi-room sound
Thanks spatialking.  Good suggestion.  The Russound puts around 50wpc into 8 ohms and 80wpc into 4 ohms (one zone driven) and that seems to be plenty.  It costs $1000 to cover 8 pairs of speakers.  We need to cover 6 pairs.  Suggestions?
