@randyhat I've not heard the 760A though I've heard the 700i and it sounded great through Wilson Sashas with Moon 6 series streaming dac. When I bought my M400s specifically talked about the option of 760A versus 2 M400s.  The owner of the store ...

A Question About Time Alignment
I think it’s the difference between playing vs reproducing a recoding.    Though I am purely hypothesizing.    I imagine a drummer using symbols and kick drum where frequencies travel at different speeds and are captured by a microphone. Then th...
Nearly all manufacturers do not advertise/exhibit their product measurements? Why?
The reason is likely based on manufacturer- ultimately because the customer that buys there stuff doesn’t care if they aren’t publishing measurements.    People often make emotional decisions then justify with facts. Rarely the other way around. ...
NAD T763
NAD was my ‘dream’ components.    I had the T765 and it was a 5.1 system I used for both music and home theatre and the only reason I don’t have it is because I sold it with my last house - part of the negotiations.    I also had a NAD 375 BEE t...

@alexatpos Given your experience with legacy speakers I trust your guidance related to used versus newer 'entry level'.  I prefer the Lumina III I over the Venere 3.0 I owned. However, I listen to a variety of music with a majority of it being cl...
How buying a car can help you be a better audiophile
I think you have something here.  I have been to numerous high performance driving schools and will attend a rally driving course this fall. The "best-est" car at x, y or z doesn't mean it's a car good for a road trip or to go back to the grocery...
100% USA designed & made DAC
I don't typically take the country of origin into consideration as much as I take the company's focus on on quality products and ethical treatment of others.  I have acquired all of audio gear from a audio retailer - the largest store being Tweete...
What is Your End Game System?
@kota1 thanks!  I admit I needed to test and experiment to be convinced speaker cables, power cables and audio stands can make a difference. The white panel is a TV antennae... My rug with a 3/4" wool pad along with cellular blinds are highly im...

Bluesound is a Canadian company as well.
speaker impedance
Personally never paid attention to ohms or sensitivity until I looked how they sounded.    And remember it’s a nominal ohm rating - hence the importance of having an amp compliment your speaker choice.
New or legacy Sonus Faber decision help
I am a Sonus faber speaker owner and I’m on my 3rd set..  I’ve heard the Lumina’s and was damn impressed on the sound for the price.  Can you buy a legacy speaker near the price of the Luminas?  If you can I’d at least try and audition them. Over...
