Are there other Artisan Fidelity TT owners aorund?
Hard to have an owners’ forum here, does not seem to be the way A’gon discussions are set up. Happy to help/join on another venue if anyone has suggestions (Audio Aficionado, Audio Circle?). I suspect the real issue is critical mass...how many of ...
Are there other Artisan Fidelity TT owners aorund?
Another AF owner here --- mine's a Garrard 401. Anyone know of an online owners' forum? This gathering is the nearest I've found.
BSG - QOL Anyone still using theirs?
Me too...everytime I think of taking it out, I end up preferring the sound with it back in. Just sounds a little more pleasing. I've not really messed around with cords though I do run it through my PS audio regenerator along with everything else.

Am local too -- not on FB though so can’t check that page out. Was at Whetsone recently for the Devore/WT gathering so probably mingled with a few of you there....please let us know here if any other specific gathering is happening. Thanks.
Your not a serious audiophile I'd you have??????
If you don't run a grammar and spell checker before posting on a forum (jk)
Phono stage gain setting to match preamp and power amp capabilities
I use a Whest and find that I enjoy the sonics with as much gain as I can use for a particular cartridge to have the resulting volume comparable when switching source from CD to turntable on my preamp.  I've gone as high as 65db with medium output...
ENTIRE SYSTEM NEEDED TO SELL
Michelle, this really is a sad situation and I extend my sympathy to you and anyone else affected by Fred's death. Lots of good advice here, and I think a reliable dealer is the best route, but in case that's not an option, here's another idea tho...
What's up with the ridiculous offers?!?
I think someone making a low ball is chancing their arm and there's no need to be offended. Be polite, if you must reply, or just ignore, the offer has term limits here. I usually reply (must be my Catholic upbringing) in the hope that with polite...
The one piece of gear you will never sell
I dream of one day having THE system where nothing needs replacing, but I suspect that really IS a dream. That said, I own a SMcAudio VRE-1 preamp that I consider the finest piece of equipment in my rig, and certainly the preamp I will likely keep...
Spectron Musician ii issue
I run a pair of these in mono config, also with remote sense cables and leave amps on all the time, have done so for years without problems. I have had a couple of repairs/upgrades over the years, sent both amps direct to Spectron -- is that where...

Yes, and some of the posters from then are still here :)
How to use Feickert Protractor on SME V Tonearm
I've done this with an SME V -- you are right, you do have to adjust both the Feickert and the arm sliding base iteratively but it's not as endless as it seems -- you sort of reach a space pretty quickly where the stylus reaches the target point a...
From Virtual Dynamics to ?
Rick, of Virtual D, moved on to produce Hi Fidelity cables, which do not share the snake like thickness of the VD products. Sadly, they do share the uber-prices of VD's upper end models. I agree that the VD cables are still very competitive, I sti...
PS Audio PWD II opinions?
I don't know what the Cullen mods offer but I thought the PWD was a significant step up for me when I got it and the PWD II upgrade was instantly, noticeably better again. I still have it and consider it a great DAC. Agree, some are dumping them n...
