Records with words with the letter S are slurred I am going to thank austinbob for you. Thanks Bob.
Is your tube amp really a tube amp? yes... but you'd need a massive dropper resistor to get the voltage down to heater voltage levels.
Turntable Setup by Ear? I wasn't expecting comments about not using tools. But honestly, I don't even think about it and it doesn't take long and maybe it is because I am doing this a long time but it is no hassle!
Turntable Setup by Ear? What tools? Eye and ear for me.
ARC preamp Voltage convertion from 110v to 220V? Unless they are on the primary side for noise suppression, the caps would not need to be replaced as they come after the secondary and those voltages are fixed by tge cct. design. I have used a step up with no problems.

Cars. What does the typical audiophile drive? I want a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack but am afraid to make the leap.
UP-OCC solid core copper for speaker cable Looks interesting. Single wire though. You'll need 2 wires per side.
My wife passed yesterday Sorry to hear of your wife's passing. This is so sad. I can't imagine losing my sweet, darling, best friend even if she has confined my rig to the basement!I hope you find solace in the music.
Help choose phono stage Not sure if this is ok with forum rules. I have a Croft Phono and line preamp on Audiogon. Have a look and see what you think.EDIT: Hmmm. I see you use a LOMC, no MC though... step up transformer?
UP-OCC solid core copper for speaker cable The Audioquest Type 4 uses OFC not OCC copper. |
