Splitting line level out from preamp, versus using 2nd set of outputs
Why are you trying to run 2 amplifiers?
Buyer Beware
Not sure you've much to stand on after buying them used from third parties. Is it possible the internal DAC volume doesn't work with USB?

Woodstock Mountains - More Music From Mud Acres (Rounder 1977) Gordon Bok, Ann Mayo Muir, Ed Trickett - The Ways Of Man (Folk-Legacy 1978) Solid recordings and good music. Sounds better than almost everything I've ever heard at shows.

Singleton Palmer and His Dixieland Band - Dixie By Gaslight (Norman 1961) I love early recordings of Dixieland jazz–this one is wonderful–recorded live and sounding superb on the idler.

You won't notice on 91dB sensitivity speakers. You’ll be blown across the room before those amps hit 20% of their output power.
Rudy Van Gelder on Vinyl
We all know that Rudy played his vinyl on a Dansett.
Do most people prefer tight bass or non tight bass?
Accurate bass.
HOW can components be so expensive, and yet customer service is so bad.
Big mainstream "high-end" manufacturers and dealers want to unload expensive and highly profitable gear to folks willing to pay. They don't want the grief of after sales which cuts into the easy transaction of the sale. The best type of manufactur...
