What makes a good tonearm?
I get great results with Jelco SA-750 (9" and 12"). They run Decca/London cartridges beautifully. If they can do that, they can handle anything! (except high compliance cartridges)
Ekco EV55 using 6550's in place of KT88
I swapped in 4 x GE 6550 for KT88s in my TVA(fire!)1 with no issues.
Advice for a Tube Amp, TT setup only
As far as budget goes, spend as much as you can from the start. When you decide to upgrade, you will lose money on the gear you compromised on.
What is it that you don't like about your Listening Room ?
Too cold in winter.
Morrison 1.8 speaker. Anybody knows how to connect them to the amp ?
I'm going by a photo of the terminal online. 2 pairs of red/ black? Parallel wire together Red to red and black to black with jumpers and wire amp to any red and black pair. If that doesn't work you should meter them to check for a short circuit.
Whats in your second system?
I upgraded my TT, preamp and monoblocs to better versions of the same items. Those replaced items make up the second rig (with the addition of digital.)
Rega Exact 2 vs. Ortofon 2m Bronze
What type of sound do you prefer? Detailed at any cost? Warm and enveloping? Type of music? Details of system?

Thanks for the update and recommendation.

Speaker Placement Priority - wall clearance or perfect equilateral
Golden ratio?
9", 10" or 12" tonearm?
I'll just throw in that my two Jelco 750 12" arms sound better with anti-skating off. (Think they look nicer over 9" too)

The Black will give you more detail with a slight increase in surface noise. If that irks you, a Nagaoka MP500 might work for you.
@inna Tell me your speakers and I'll tell you who you are
I was hoping for: Quad ESL57 - You lot are all the same. Thinking you’re better than the rest of us with your midband female jazz vocals and your DIY cables. Your car is paid for and serviced every 6000 and there are boxes of screws of every sort ...

My other speakers which I use in a second rig are Spendor SP2/2. Less transparent than my Quads but solid. Powered by Croft Micro 25 pre and refurbed EICO HF35 monos and Clear Day shotgun silver cables. Love the British BBC sound on this rig.
Michael Fremer's system
Caliburn last I noticed.
