Purchase advice: Old turntable vs. new....
There is a reason idlers like the Garrard 301/401 and Lenco L75 are used in many high end systems. They are excellent sounding, relatively cheap, easily serviceable by the user, have plenty of easily available spare parts, do not break down, and a...

I know Admin said they were working on it but wow, it's still being hammered with the same spam. I can't understand how they can't fix this.
Recommendations on stuff to look at for upgrading a 300B SET amp
Love to hear what that 805 sounds like. There used be a guy building amps with SMPS and GM70 tubes with thoriated tungsten/mercury rectifiers. Sounded awesome even on YouTube.

I run a London/Decca with a paratrace stylus. Fussy enough you might imagine. However, I set it by eye and have never used a protractor or loupe because it sounds fine. I don’t mean fine as in acceptable, I mean fine as in soaring female vocals, s...
Tube amp buzz (amp, not speakers)

I googled the phone # in a majority of the post headers. Results show that this spam is on scores of forums. #deathpenaltyforspammersIf Agon just blocked the text string "9145958860", 80% of this would be blocked.
