Review: Consonance CD-120 Linear CD Player
Philbrady:Thanks for your kind words. I didn't realize how much goes into a review until now. It's harder than it reads. I tend to ramble and go off on tangents trying to convey my thoughts while staying on topic. I couldn't have said it better th...
Review: Consonance CD-120 Linear CD Player
Mechans:How lucky you are to live so close. I agree that Opera/Consonance hasn't received the recognition they deserve. On 'enjoythemusic.com' there is a review on the Consonance Cyber 211 tube monblock (retails for $4995) that the author states i...
Where are you from this Christmas..
Merry Christmas from Valley Village (10 mi. north of Los Angeles). Peace to all, everyone, everywhere.
Can anyone comment on the new Music Hall CD 25.2?
There's a review at eqoustics.com on the CD25.5. While there is similarity between the Music Hall, Onix, Usher and Shandling (look at inside picutres and you'll see they are not exactly alike), the CD25.5 is a step up. The reviewer wasn't exactly ...
Review: Grungebuster CD Mat Herbie's Audio Lab Tweak
I've been using the Grungebuster 2 for a couple of months now and agree that it is the cat's meow of tweaks. It's even great for DVDs.

Mapleshade Silclear
I've had Silclear on my tube pins for over 10 months now with no adverse affects at all. No muddiness, nothing. I put it on very sparingly. The same goes for all connections including the plugs. My tubes still have the same increase in the glow fa...
Best redbook player for under $1000
Consonance CD-120 Linear.
Best undiscovered speakers on the market today ?
Decware Radial 1.5. There is so much this speaker does right. For the first month or so I thought I had made a mistake in gettting these. They take awhile to loosen up and break in. After going to the VTV show in Arcadia, I was surprised at how al...
Sinatra question
Try 'Live in Paris', whatever disc that has 'From the Wee Small Hours' on it, 'Duets', and maybe "live at the Sands'. I heard 'Live From Paris' and the song, "From the Wee Small Hours" on the radio a few days ago and finally became a fan of his. I...
What should be on my short list...
Consonance CD-120 Linear. This is well under your limit but not to be overlooked. True 16 bit, non-oversampling/upsampling, no op-amps or digital filters, etc. I've had mine for a week now and am quite impressed.
Review: Quantum Resonance Technology Symphony Tweak
Ozzy:I don't get that with mine when I diconnect it. Maybe it's system dependent or maybe it's due to the constraints of my listening room. It's small (10 1/2' x 15') and I'm 7' from the speakers (near field) which are about 10' apart. What I did ...
Review: Quantum Resonance Technology Symphony Tweak
It's nice to know I haven't lost my mind or my hearing. I'll admit that the statements made are beyond my ken but my ears appreciate it most keenly. Thanks for the responses.
Review: Quantum Resonance Technology Symphony Tweak
Bgrazman:I respect your background and knowledge and your inclination to doubt this but.... All I can say is I've taken it out and re-inserted it and the results are the same. Also, I'm told that they are actively looking for licensing agreements ...
