Back In the Day
I was just glad to get something I could afford that would put a smile on my face. All we had we magazines and brick and mortar stores, some who would look at your askance if you weren't their 'type'. Some even required an appointment just to brow...
Internet radio stations that sound really good

Fed up with people making noise at classical shows
In keeping with the OP's point, more and more people think class is something that they skipped in school. Be it a night at the orchestra, watching a movie, or even attending a funeral or cemetery, class and dignity seem to have taken a back seat ...
How Do You Pronounce Thiel?
Yes, a dictionary will give you what is historically the most used pronunciation and/or usage and rate it accordingly with the most used to the least used. Some go even further and state what is the correct pronunciation and what is now accepted. ...
How Do You Pronounce Thiel?
All I was doing was pointing out that phonetically speaking, nothing rhymes. Rhymes are for children and my point was never meant to offend, just to point out that there are lessons from youth that we need to get to keep in touch with from time to...

need 15 foot IC's any suggestions?
I got a great deal on ebay for a 15' length of Zu Mission (new, from them) for about half of what they'd normally go for. That, and the guy who designed them used to work for Kimber, heading one of the design teams before going to Zu. Worth a try....
Dual volume control - it should be standard
It's bad enough giving up remote control. Stepped attenuators are as far as I'll go. I'm willing to give up laziness to a point.I do remember noticing a long time ago that one channel (probably the right) was louder or had more info but I believe ...
