What does the term "Speed" mean in a speaker?
I just received the center channel that matches my Legacy Focus SE L/R Speakers. It mentions "speed" in their advertising also. Here’s part of their Ad Legacy’s best center channel speaker has been updated to the Marquis XD. Featuring our 4" AMT r...

1973 . Jr in HS,. Was getting a little tired of my complete Webcor system that my grandfather had helped my purchase. He was a big Pete Fountain fan, and had a big console stereo that to me was awesome. I graduated HS, got a job bagging grocery’s....
what is it in audio that you dislike most?
Thin sounding music with no thump. Very little impact that some folk call neutral. It can be crystal clear, but without some dynamics, I'm not a fan
Looking for a good full range floor stander
I vote for the Legacy's too. I have a little smaller room with Ascend Sierra 2's as back speaker surrounds, and a horizon Ascend Raal  Horizon Center. Our listening choices are the same. I listen too about the same genre's. He probably has a bette...
Your favourite music movie?
If your talking about sound quality, nothing is close to the new Queen Movie. Not in my opinion. Sounds like a concert in 5.2. I actually bought a 4K version just as a "show off your system " . It's mixed as well as some of my video concerts.
Bought some `Vintage Gear`

Vintage Speaker Choice
I had a pair of Infinity 1001A’s that I LOVED. It had a rear tweeter . Sounded great in a bedroom, listening to the old rock and roll of the 70’s. My wife had the Advents in her deli, they were good also
Is this the real life, or just death on 2 legs?
I thought it was mixed really well ( for a movie ) and sounded great . I found myself turning it up on the musical parts and then turning it back down through the dialogs. I liked it. My two 18 inch subs came in handy ... LOL. I still remember sit...
Any insight on Tekton Double impact BE, Focus Se, Salk SS 8, or Golden Ear TRef?
I have only had 2 of your choices, The Tekton DI’s and the Legacy Focus SE’s. I currently own the Legacy’s. I have had quite a few brands through my 63 years and I think I finally found the ones I’m going to keep. You mentioned their a little brig...
Tekton Design's new THE PERFECT SET equals "goosebumps time"
waltersalaYou should try Audio Adviser. They pay shipping both ways on everything. I have tried CD players, Pre -Amps, and returned both on their dime. Never have purchased speakers, but I’m assuming its the same deal
Tekton Design's new THE PERFECT SET equals "goosebumps time"
I'm not a hater, but I most certainly DID try out a set of DI's with upgrades and promptly sent them back. 300 bucks...ouch. They were alright, but that tweeter array wasn't nearly as clean and detailed as the Ascend Acoustics Towers I was trying ...
Best song for immediate impact when presenting or testing?
Supertramps "Hide in your Shell" is well mixed and gradually builds.....
