Integrated amp for Legacy Focus speakers
I have the Legacy IV:5 and a IV:2 Amps for my Legacy Focus SE's. They power all my Legacy speakers. (Marquis Center, Phantom Sides, Deco Rears, etc,). When I switched from a ATI Signature Series AT 6000 I saw a vast improvement on hiss levels, and...
Watts! How many do we need?
Boring? Not in the least, but who am I to tell a seasoned race car junkie with a splash of music exposure to boot. Yea, I’m serious. Here is my in car camera view of one of the thousands of passes I’ve made in the last 25 years of driving one of ...
Watts! How many do we need?
Anyone that listen at 113-115db are either def or stupid, or if doing it routinely maybe both? If you are not def, is it then something you aspirer to be ? Why would a music lover try to intentionally destroy one’s hearing? As older we get our ...
Is the idea of audiophile listening a dying concept as boomers die off?
When I was a kid, one of the necessities was a high-end stereo. Almost all the young men I knew had nice stereos. Some had super nice ones. I was one of those. Today, I know of no one, zilch, that has a stereo of any kind. All my kids and grandkid...
Watts! How many do we need?
I have a bunch, and I’m thinking I use almost all of them. 1000 each in my Legacy IV 2 Amplifier. It runs the Legacy Focus SE’s Mains. 600 each in my 5 channel Legacy IV 5. It runs my Side Phantom’s and Rear Deco's plus the Center Marquis. All are...
Your thoughts on best audiophile speakers in $10,000 neighborhood?
I’ll vouch for the Legacy Focus SE’s. I certainly love these things and it’s taken a lifetime of trial to find them. If your game to come down to Ohio to have couple hours listen, you more than welcome
Songs you use when auditioning gear

lyngdorff 3400
Lyngdorf Room Perfect is really good. I had Marantz and Lexicon before and its much better. At least to my ears. I have a MP 40 but the room correction is the same as the 3400.
Good Speakers for Rock and Roll Under 15K
I vote for the Legacy Focas. I have them, love their rock and roll ! I'm powering them with Legacys V series amps. 1000 Watts. I tried a set of Tekton Double Impacts but did not like the tweeter array. They were a good speaker, just not for me.
Your greatest high end audio purchase!!!
Legacy Focus Mains, Marquee Center, Phantom Surrounds, Deco Rears, And 4 Foundation Double Subs. with V*I5 and V*I2 Amps  The Lyngdorf to process them works wonders
Robert Plant
This band is incredible. We go see them every year when they come through town. Have tickets for them in February. Sells out EVERY show.   .
I’m looking for an sleek integrated amp under $15k
I have a Lyngdorf Processor. Absolutely love it. Sounds incredible with great workmanship. My votes for them. Good Luck and Happy Hunting
Most recent speaker you audited in room and returned? Why did you return it?
Sent back Tekton Double impacts. That tweeter array was not for me. Instead ended up with Legacy
Have you found your "End-Game" speakers yet? I have. And it feels so good!!!
50 years of experiments and head banging. When I found Legacy, the hunt was over. My complete 7.4  Legacy system (Lyngdorf processor) has cost me as much as a new car, but I love it, and consider my journey OVER.
LIST ALL YHE SPEAKERS YOU HAVE OWNED THEN TILL NOW!
