If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly ATMFRANK, do you find a notable additional difference with and without Allo Digione Signature/Raspberry (do you need any special things to install it, it seems it comes without a case right), what DAC you have?
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly To me as well, folks, the thoughts of ATMFRANK are logical and convincing, I would rather trust such reasoning.
Why so many angry audiophiles? I think this thread touched important issues (that we face daily) indeed consider it relevant. As to me, I completely share the thought of @tomcy6.
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly Sure but the "cleaned" signal again enters to DAC, cannot it again poorly extract the sampling info?
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly Your DAC likely is not able to deal with the higher jitter of an optical interface. Coax has less jitter. audio2 and douglas, do you mean the optical converter or the optical cable? In both cases, a similar problem may occur in Ethernet to opt...
If you stream music from the internet, I can't recommend this more highly I didn't read all the posts, have a simple question. I use wifi with Node2 and have tried both, coax and optical connection to my DAC. According to all this, optical should sound cleaner (as a fiber filter), however coax cable sounds better. A co...
I admire Miles Davis, i admire Stravinsky; but i loved Chet Baker and Scriabin...You? Who likes Kurt Elling may also like Randy Newman
I admire Miles Davis, i admire Stravinsky; but i loved Chet Baker and Scriabin...You? ... I hope with my face either 😅I don't know exactly how much my audio system costs but I am convinced and have always been convinced that more expensive things are not necessarily better, in particular, in audio stuff. If I would have your abili...
I admire Miles Davis, i admire Stravinsky; but i loved Chet Baker and Scriabin...You? "The last time i go to a cinema was 30 years ago...I almost never go to restaurant. ... I walk instead of taking the bus....I never accept to live in a house with any neighbours.... I run away from any collective festivities ..."I have just read t...
I admire Miles Davis, i admire Stravinsky; but i loved Chet Baker and Scriabin...You? Thanks for your response and an interesting observation, mahgister. Perhaps, out perception of art, and , in particular, of music has to do something with our previous lives ...
I admire Miles Davis, i admire Stravinsky; but i loved Chet Baker and Scriabin...You? Sorry guys, but for my taste Bach is a bit monotone and homogeneous, as some other baroque composers including Purcell, whom, by the way I also like (as well as Bach), but no more I am so much excited with them (I think there are much less "mono...
Floor-standing vs Book-shelf from upper line up? Go with flour standing. With bookshelf ones you need good stands and at least one sub. Yo my taste, subwoofers do not complete the speakers as well as the woofers integrated in speakers.
Should I use Speaker Spike / Isolation Base or Something? A simple observation. A member of flour standing speakers come from the fabric on spikes (e.g. Thiel, done JM Lab). I would not bother myself further and just trust their experience.
Tube Amp soundstage Independently from theory (which is of course interesting by itself) I was (and continue) comparing the soundstage of Stingray tube integrated amplifier (in push-pull) and Cherry Megascino class D that I use with Wyred4sound STP2 preamplifier. S...
High end Class D amps? one more vote for PS Audio Stellar S300. I was a bit critical with that amp in the earlier thread ("Time to buy a class D amp?"). This was my first class D amp, and I switched from pure tube setting. More importantly, I used it with PS Audio Gain ... |
