| new tubes on auto-bias amp,can be done by anyone? If your amp features auto-bias you don't need to do anything but replace the tubes. Some manufacturers say the tubes don't have to be matched. That may or may not be true but I suggest buying matched tubes anyway. | |

| Anyone NOT like the sound of VPI? Differnt tastes. There is nothing wrong with the frequency response of the VPI line. I've never heard a Rega described as dark. You might try a Michel Gyrodec SEor a Linn LP12. They both sound quite different from VPI and Rega. |
