The best CD Player for the money
711Smilin, I fail to understand how a Denon 3910 could be playing in the super high-end market and be significantly better than Emmlabs , even "modified". Denon themselves have a high-end player (the DSD-SA1 retails for about $10,000) that is cert...
THE EXTERNAL DIGITAL CLOCK
I'm curious to know how much mopre musical your system became after you added the $13k + $4k clock and cable? Can you quantify that on a 100 scale?I'm asking as I am also interested in the same Esoteric digital front end combo.
The best CD Player for the money
I recently listened to the latest one box EMMlabs CDSA SE layer, at $9995 MRSP it blew away my Accuphase DP-77 clearly (in a Dartzeel/Harbeth/Jena labs system). If the Esoteric I want does not top the EMMlabs box I may go for this one too.

Chris, it seems that you have an unusually hot running reference control unit. This is not normal, I've had mine in stand-by mode and on since February this year and it never gets "hot", only warm when on and then equall temperature right, left an...
Stand-by on Mark Levinson products
I have my 33H's and 32 in stand-by mode permanently. This way they stay warm and deliver an immediate excellent level of performance. My dealer also adviced me that they were designed to be kept in standby mode. Not sure whether they have build in...
