| Phono interconnect under $500 used If you can get away with an unshielded cable, resolution might improve. I'll take the VERY minimal hum while standing next to my high efficiency speakers over the lack of resolution through various shielded cables I've used. | |

| My system has a narraw sounstage, lacks dynamics. The lamp cord is the obvious problem. Leave it plugged in but disconnect it from the lamp base. Lick the copper ends at the same time. You'll be shocked at the difference! 8^) | |
