| Focal 836w vs Aria line Had the Focals up and running for a few days. Great synergy with the Micromega. Super fun speakers and very well balanced IMO. Great detail as well. Voices and strings really pop. | |

| LSA 20 Statement Speakers If you like the basic Monitor Audio sound signature the Music Room has a pair of PL200 speakers for just under 4K. Those are beautiful speakers! Never heard the LSAs. Just another option to think about. | |

| Does port location make a significant difference with regard to speaker placement? Yes front ported are more forgiving of proximity to the wall. | |

| Buying used: how old is too old? Nope 5 years can even be a current model. Like Revel Ultima for instance. I say 20 year is fine if the money is right. I’ve had 30 year old speakers and they sounded really nice and were original to my knowledge. |
