If you've only had the gear for 6 months (which I'm assuming because of your comment about being into high end for 6 months) and you're happy with the 803s then why change? If your priority is stereo (by which I assume you mean 2 channel) reproduc...
Audionet ART V.2
I have heard the audionet art a number of times now, first to audition integrated amps, and then more recently in comparison to a Sim Moon Eclipse . I found the audionet player to be a bit bright and not as punchy in the low end in comparison to t...
Need help putting together a bedroom system
Thanks everyone...I think the Jolida stuff is the way to go considering my price range. I'm going to sell both sets of speakers (if anyone's intersted in them let me know) and maybe go with the totem rainmakers after saving up some more scratch.Th...
High Quality Integrated to power Mani-2
Forgot to add the Jeff Rowland Concerto, which I'm eager to audition as well, but on paper should drive the Mani's but it's over your price limit (5900). Don't know if the new Sim has enough juice, but it is sweet looking! My dealer in NY (In Livi...
High Quality Integrated to power Mani-2
Does it have to be new, because I think the Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista wouuld be a nice addition to that list, and it goes for slightly over 3500 on agon. I think it would be a better option than the A5 (plus it has an adequate phono stage).
Dad likes my Infinity Kappa8's, What's similar?
There are a couple posts about this so you may find a lot out by looking through old archive threads. I'd go with the Totem Arro's (can be had for 550-700 used) and maybe the audio refinement integrated (there's one on sale on agon for 475) but th...
Anyone listen to Alva.Noto + Ryuichi Sakamoto?
Thanks for the tip Bill!
What's your latest "Discovery"

Integrated Amp Choice: budget tubes or ss?
Have you auditioned the cambridge already? You can get the 540 for like 270 used, which packs a little more punch, but I have to say that the audio refinement and arcam are much better IMO than the cambridge. If you can find a Prima Luna Prologue ...
Integrated Amp Choice: budget tubes or ss?
I agree with Kotta, I haven't heard the Ming-Da, but the cambridge is underwhelming in my opinion. For 250 you can't expect much, and this is better than the 250 bucks, but if you can you're much better spending a little more on a used piece of ge...
Integrated amp w/seperate SUB-Out?
Jeff Rowland Concerto integrated.
Best opentop CDP
Also, I should have asked this first, but what's the rest of your system like? I recommended the Accustic arts because I covet it, and it is a great player, but doesn't gaurantee it's the best for your system. Also curious why it has to be a top l...
Best opentop CDP
There's an accustic arts player 1 for 4000, but it's been on for a while so maybe the guy would take an offer. I love the sound of this unite.Otherwise there are two Accustic Arts drive 1 transports for like 2300, and you could add a DAC (used ben...
Ready to try vinyl
Johnnantais,I thought your posts were interesting if a little labor-intensive to read (and I'm sure to write). I don't disagree with you on principal, and I've been lurking on your Lenco forum now for a few weeks now (but now writing) with great i...
Ready to try vinyl
Not to mention Avid, Basis, Brinkman, Pro-Ject, Well Tempered, SME, Musical Fidelity, Amazon, Microseiki, Acoustic Signature...etc.Jeeze, I keep forgetting how these are all faulty and have horrible sound compared to the Technics SL1200. ;-)(and f...
