Speaker cables for Sonus Faber Olympica II I agree with @adg101. Clear Days are amazing. I would have kept my cables, if the replacements did not burn a hole in my pocket. They are seriously good cables for the money. There is another person here who has WyWires, but still hanging on to hi...

Speaker cables for Sonus Faber Olympica II @arafiq ,The Audio Envy were very revealing just like the Clear Days. They were open and cast a wide sound stage. They were not run in at all with 0 hours on them.
Speaker cables for Sonus Faber Olympica II I would highly recommend Audio Envy for that price range. I had compared them to my Clear Day Shotguns (8 foot) in a friend's system and they were very very close to Clear Days.
What xlr cable to choose I have been thoroughly happy with my Inakustik Reference NF-2404 AIR. They are super revealing. I love their presentation.
Power Conditioners @sjeesjie,Did you get the power conditioner or still on the fence? I have a Inakustik AC-3500p in my system and love it. No negative on anything, except everything improves, at least in my system.
Quad Z2s Owners out there?... Is it only with a certain song or all the music you listen to? Try switching the left/right speaker cables to make sure it is not the amp. Also try to switch the ICs on the source to make sure that the source is fine.
Marantz SA-10 Vs Esoteric K-05Xs @trebor33,I don't think in future I will go with a disc spinner. I made several changes in my system and am at a point I am pretty happy with the setup. I am also using the UDP-205 exclusively as a DAC for the past several months and have not play...
Anybody have both Herbie's Cone/Spike Pucks and isoacoustics gaia's @sjsfiveo,I have the same thing: concrete floors -> carpet ->granite slab ->speakers.Had Herbies footers for many many years. But the Gaias play on a different level - at least in my system. In my case they sightened the bass, improved th...
Holo Audio May DAC Anyone has compared this with the Rockna Wavelight? I believe they are at similar price points and hence curious.
Power Conditioners @spotconlon,I have been using the Inakustik AC-3500 for the past year and have been pretty happy with what it did in my system. Absolutely no loss of dynamics or musicality. If anything it improves the sound across broad spectrum with tight bass a...
I knew room treatments were in my future. @golden210,Your new room is not small. I would call it medium. I am in a similar situation as you are - room in the basement with 2 solid concrete walls and 2, 2X4 walls with double drywall (on each side) glued together with Green Glue acoustic...
Anyone with experience with Spendor D9's? @jjss49 ,Would definitely love to see the new pics.I have read in a speaker setup guide somewhere (don't recollect where exactly) that the distance of a speaker from front wall and side wall should never be the same. Other posters can correct me. ...
Anyone with experience with Spendor D9's? Yes @jjss49 , I commented on your system page and you never responded :-)I have treated all the four corners of my room with bass traps. How far from the walls, were the D48Rs when they were in your room? I am surprised that they overloaded your r...
Anyone with experience with Spendor D9's? just wondering if the shift in sound palette has gone as far as upper focals, kefs, proacs etc etc which are definitely more lively and more overtly ’hifi’ in presentation @jjss49 ,I think the Spendor "D" series are completely different than t... |
