Justy i'm very curious, what do you own? I beleive Pepolk was asking for help not for your opinion on his choice of equipment. So what do you have? My system retails for over 40k and i don't feel no need to get Mr Pepolk upset or knock his system ...
Tuning speaker / room response?
Neils can you place the sound system on the back wall where the couch and recliners are? I see you realize that where the speakers are placed now, that they should be around 60in off the wall behind your speakers. Looks like you might get better r...
1 sub? 2 subs?
Milo yes i believe many will confess that 2 sounds more tonealy correct for music. As far as recommending the subs, i'll leave that for the others. I use 2 Rel Stadium 11's . Your room sounds large enough to handle a pair. What i like about the Re...
Bi-wiring speakers
Sam i went to google.com and searched for Bi-Wire and the very first link was an article from soundstage on bi-amping and bi-wiring and according to the soundstage writer. If your speakers are bi-ampable and bi-wirable (seperate x/o's) you will he...
Bi-wiring speakers
Thanks Megasam, i do own the 10t's and i do run seperate cable prs and do hear a noticeable improvement in sound. Maybe some day when i have another 4k to burn i'll add another amp but in the meantime don't touch my Bi-Wire please. It sounds good ...
Bi-wiring speakers
How about this senerio. Lets take a speaker like the Aerial 10t that has seperate crossover boards and as stated in the manual is bi-ampable and bi-wireable. Out of the single pair of speaker outputs from the amp you connect 2 pair of speaker cabl...

Hi Brian, i'm not familiar with C-Band but see no reason why some model C-Band receivers shouldn't have an audio dig output. Its still a digital satellite system. Ck with a C-Band sat receiver retailer and ask if they carry any receivers with a au...

Hi Pepolk, i'm not familar with your actual system but it sounds like you connect the passive subs to your front left and right speakers. For 5.1 your processor should give you the option of setting the front speakers to large or small. Set the fr...
Tuning speaker / room response?
Paolo not bad for a fellow Italian from Italy. Now do you want to rewrite that in Italian. Good Advice
Electronics in Dusty Environments
Just plugging into an outlet on a different circuit and keeping the dust out should keep the tunes playing. Talk to a qualified elect about adding a seperate outlet from a different curcuit. Should't cost too much. Hope this helps -------> Mike
Electronics in Dusty Environments
Sorry, the line should also be isolated as well as dedicated.
Electronics in Dusty Environments
I'm sure the excess dust isn't helping. The dust problem can be remedied by placing the receiver in an enclosed rack. BUT the dust may not be the only destroyer of your electronics in your workshop. Are you using power tools and such in the work s...
Tuner Vs. 4DTV music channels
Albert maybe i should give you some options about some newer DSS Systems. For example the RCA DTC100 has a dig out but also is a HDTV Tuner and HDTV Sat reciever and much more. As a HDTV Tuner, it will allow you to receive your local HD programing...
Tuner Vs. 4DTV music channels
Hi Albert, if you decide to try a new DSS Receiver, be careful of certain Sony Receivers with the dig out. The Sony models A50, A55, A4 are known to have problems with the dig out. I use a RCA DRD515RD but is discontinued. The second generation So...
