Village Vanguard session with Bill Evans
I can't improve upon what has already been offered here, but I have to wonder if the audience knew what they had experienced after attending this gig, say, discussing the music on their drive home? Generally speaking, was this identified at that t...
What integrated beats AES Sixpacs? Budget $3500
I see a Jadis DA60 integrated amp for sale here (no affiliation) that I bet would sound very very good. Good luck with your hunt!
AES Six Pacs
Add in some high quality binding posts while you're at it. The ones that come stock (at least when I owned my Sixpacs) were very cheap plastic. Mine were done at Cary with a pair of WBT Gold posts and they were very nice.
Christmas Jazz Anybody?
Not exactly jazz, but close is James Taylor's Christmas CD. The audio quality is among the best I know to boot.

Best jazz covers of rock songs
One of most unique covers I've listened to is Brian Bromberg's interpretation of "Come Together" by the Beatles on solo stand up bass.

I have to agree with Zenblaster, just saw Dave in Cleveland, I've been a fan from the beginning. Leroi Moore is out due to an ATV accident, his replacement on sax stole the show. I didn't catch the guy's name, but he really put on a performance. #...

Greatest Rock Guitar Riffs
The only other one I can remember is from the one hit wonder band named Head East "Never Been Any Reason" 1975. Definately not the best, but a nice first 45 seconds.

Jakob Dylan
I was in Barnes & Noble this week and they had it on in their store. I didn't recognize his voice, I had to ask the clerk who it was. I bought it and can't stop playing it. I like the tone and feel of the tunes, still figuring out some of the ...

Best jazz covers of rock songs
The remake of Zeplin's "The Crunge" by Joshua Redman on his "Momentum" CD is pretty cool. My other favorite (although it took a few listens) is the Jacqui Naylor cover of "Miss You" by the Stones on her "Shelter" CD.
Jackson Browne CD's
Pdn: How can one tell a "digitally Remastered" CD? Is there a sticker on the CD itself. I looked at some today and didn't see any signage. Basically I'm asking how I can tell.
