What's your experience with snooty HiFi salesmen? +1 @larry5729 same company in Boulder same behavior. I buy cables from them sometimes if the price is right, I think you’re being very generous by saying they make you uncomfortable. I ordered my cables over the phone, walk in and pay for them ...
Is soundstage DEPTH a myth? I was listening to Helene Grimaud. The album is Duo. It’s just Grimaud on piano and del Sol on cello. The piano sounded like it was up on the stage at a concert hall. I’m sitting in the front row and del Sol is seated right in front of me just to ...

what are your top "audio bargins" in your system history? Grace F9e, purchased new in 1984 for $158. I’m using it right now while my Soundsmith, The Voice, is getting retipped. The F9e is still amazing me after 39 years. You can buy one on eBay right now $500 from Japan. I’ve seen in the tires $1200 and ...
Lyra and OMA I’m still here and I’m still listening. Thanks Jonathan.
Subwoofer Choice @bound4h I also have in SVS SB3000. I like that you can alter the impedance curve from your listening chair with an iPhone. I’ve got it to my preference! ml

MC for Low Mass Tonearm I'm in negotiations with a European Audiogon Dealer right now to Purchase a Frog! Thank you all (again) for your advice! Bent
Small, Effective Subwoofers? SVS has a variety of subwoofer sizes and shapes. You might want to try them. I have an SB 300. I’m in a small room is completely controllable using my iPhone. Quite amazing how you can shape the impedance. Bent |
