2006 BEST Female Vocal CD/SACD/XRCD
Timely note, Madhf. Looking for some Christmas music in Fry's today and saw the new Loreena - I did not know it was out yet. I'll put it on in a minute and report back.Regards,
"magic" stampers?
Drifting off topic a bit, but what the hell. Groovey, I can picture Murry's attic room.Mick Taylor left the band after "It's Only Rock and Roll" but he left behind a legacy of beautiful guitar work, the solo on "Time Waits for No One" among the cr...
Best way to clean CD player lens?
In the Sony Service manual for your unit they recommend that the ONLY way to clean the lens is with compressed air. I have the same unit as you and I have the Service Manual.Regards,

Reference DACS: An overall perspective
Rene_l,If you don't mind my butting in here ... a number of audiophiles know this cable manufacturer, having heard Jorma Prime cables when they heard the "Swedish Statement" system at CES in January of 2006. A knockout system. This was reinforced b...

Pick your poison...2-channel or multi?
You know how when a 2Ch setup is locked in, the sound stage is detailed, deep and wide? Now imagine, if you will, this same phenomenon taking place, when done correctly, 5 times over. I'm all for a thought experiment, Cdwallace. If 2 speakers use i...

BAT VK-51 SE or McIntosh C200?
Aball writes:about the same in terms of sound quality but the C200 had a better user interface and costs almost $1k lessI find it impossible to fault the user interface on my BAT 50SE (the same I believe as the 51). One doesn't need much from a pr...
