Hahaha, thanks Csontos, I needed a good laugh!
Amp with best bass control
I think you know very well Audiolabyrinth I have been subject to various malicious, almost insane attacks on my amplifiers (including in my review of the Boulder 1060), so it's a bit rich to be calling me on that now. Everyone has limits, and mine...

08-23-13: Audiolabyrinth@ Mbovaird, Hi, I was waiting patiently for you of all the posters here!, I knew you would come back and say what you did of the Boulder amps, my post earlier on this thread ring TRUE!, they suck! How eloquent. Did you learn...
Amp with best bass control
I always find it interesting when people compare amplifiers more than twice the price of your own amp and (surprise surprise) find they sound better. I also find it interesting when those same people espouse clear preferences toward specific color...
Vitus Audio RD-100
I've heard the Vitus RI-100 integrated a couple of times. The reference series shares the Vitus house sound which is warm, textured, yet relaxed and natural at the same time. Build quality and engineering of course are excellent and built around m...
what are the Best Direct to amps Digital Players ?
I'd have to say Meridian 808v5 has most impressed me. It is a truly audiophile cdp, is beautifully designed and built & has an array of analogue and digital inputs. I know one audiophile in another forum I belong to who is mega impressed with it.
Upgrade?
W4S has plenty of fans in the forums I contribute to. I personally don't have experience with their products, but around that price point if you're looking for a warm and 'musical' sounding dac, i'd look at the Red Wine Audio Bellina Pro. That is ...
Stillpoints Ultra SS under your speakers?
Tbg, thanks for the feedback re: the Ultra bases. I've read feedback to the contrary indicating they provide a slight lift in performance, so results obviously vary depending on the application. On a tiled floor, using the the bases is probably a ...

08-18-13: Audiolabyrinthsounds like boulder is desperate for sales!Members deserve better than reading your misinformation and lies. The simple fact is Boulder have added a 4th CNC machine, employed more staff and are in the process of moving to a...
Stillpoints Ultra SS under your speakers?
Tbg, what you're describing might be true, though the Magico S5's have 3 factory spikes on each speaker, so to replace the factory feet using the short thread adaptors from Stillpoints, you only need 2 pairs of 3. Imho, running 3 Ultra 5's with th...
Stillpoints Ultra SS under your speakers?
Tbg, I've become a believer in Stillpoints and agree with your comments regarding the Ultra 5's. I recently ordered a pair of Magico S5's and plan to use a set of 3 Ultra 5's with the Ultra bases under each speaker, and plan to buy 2 more sets of ...
Food or beryllium tweeters for my DeCapo's
Tubeears, I see some members have been critical of your thread. I can see a bit of myself in you however. I know what it's like to put a high end audio system together on a modest salary & tight budget. I have made similar choices at times, go...
Amp with best bass control
Mike, the Raidho D3's sound like amazing speakers. You mentioned some very good amps. I own a pair of Magico S5's and have heard the S5's with Vitus & Soulution amps. I liked the Soulution 710 which sounded very smooth and relaxed, much like t...
