The End Of Big Iron?
"A simple and inexpensive means of dealing with hot amplifiers, tube or solid state, is to install ceiling ventilation with ductwork to move the warmed air out of the building. "Installing new duct work is simple?I guess its all relative.
Looking for really fine cables at really low price
Tbg, as I;ve mentioned prior elsewhere, DNM Reson ICs would be another inexpensive option that is very lightweight and easy to apply that is worth comparing. If they have a weakness, it's that they are not shielded so one has to be careful with lo...
which sub to get
A benefit of using even one powered sub is the potential to offload a lot of heavy work from the main amps and speakers so that alone will often result in better sound even if there is still likely room for improvement by adding subs. In many case...

Songs that Inspire or Move you
I've had stages in life where little music moved me. Lots of things can contribute to that. But I have been into audio now for so many years only for that reason ie in order to be affected by the music as much as possible.
Using solid copper Door Bell wire as speaker wire.
I use dnm reason ics in my setup but shy away from using such high gauge conductors as speaker wire. That goes against the established practice of using smaller gauge wire for speakers especially for longer runs.
