What do you do when you live hours from nowhere Tost, me too. I have bought various audio components previously unheard in recent years based on what I learn from sites like this and others and have yet to be disappointed. So it can work though in most cases probably reasonable to expect some h...
Why do people that are Into rap and hip-hop even want a high-end audio system Lots of bass is definitely an attribute. Audiophiles like bass as well right, as long as there is some quality to go with quantity? Rap/Hip hop recordings are fertile grounds for that and sometimes other unique audio treats as well resulting from ...
Is the word 'Integrated' that hard to spell? Not that it is an excuse, but many tablets and phones like those from Apple by default automatically change words you type that it does not recognize into what it thinks it should be and is often wrong. I find it most annoying that my technology...
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? OHM has been sold direct to buyers only for a number of years now since the 80s. Despite being pretty unique, others in the business have little business reason to give them much if any special attention. There are not many substitutes if one l...

Why do people that are Into rap and hip-hop even want a high-end audio system True that some rap is produced very well and is a unique listen on a good hifi. Try it you might like it. "The Eminem Show" by Eminem is a good place to start.
Why do people that are Into rap and hip-hop even want a high-end audio system Come listen to rap and hip hop on my system and hear for yourself.

Your "eureka" digital moment Agree with larryi. Being able to access and listen to my music library remotely when out of the house is an additional bonus. I use Plex application exclusively for that. In home, I use both Plex and older Logitech Squeeze devices still as well.
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? Rather than a computer for streaming music, for WAF consider a tablet with digital output to external DAC perhaps. Or I find analog sound out from my newer Iphone 6 running good quality streaming software to be very good quality these days. I use ...
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em? I had original Walsh 2s from 1982-2008, a long time.Once at an outdoor party I had them cranked to max off a high quality Tandberg 80 w/ch receiver. No problems. The music sounded loud and live in the adjacent field over 50 yards away. With ...
What do you do when you live hours from nowhere In OPs case the Internet and sites like this are the solution. There are many well intending members here that will give straight unbiased answers to specific questions. Figure out who you trust and consider what they say. Ask specific questions...
If you won the power ball tomorrow night would you It would be ultimate bad luck to win and then get hit by a comet.
Your "eureka" digital moment As soon as I switched from CD player to rip and stream via a good quality DAC only, about 7 years ago or so. |
