Can you leave class D amps on and not ever turn them off?
Regarding sound quality when leaving on versus turning off,   I suspect leaving it on at it should be only helps but have not been dissapointed either to-date after firing it up cold.
Room treatment-I was afraid of this
Corner placement worth a try also in a small room.
Can you leave class D amps on and not ever turn them off?
FWIW, the BEl Canto ref1000m amps draw a lot of current when powered up.    If I power both up at exactly the same time, my circuit breaker will break.   Once on though there is never an issue. So a major power draw event like that is likely best k...
Why So Many Raidho Speaker For Sale?
People make mistakes.   Sometimes very expensive ones.   One person's mistake can easily turn out to be anothers cat's meow.Regarding speakers I see a lot of Kef ls50s for sale.  I've heard them and they are nice little speakers but probably do no...
Can you leave class D amps on and not ever turn them off?
Do what maker recommends.   Bel canto recommends my amps be left on so I do normally except if away for more than a day.   Class D should draw minimal power when idling and does not generate much if any heat due to efficiency so that makes it more...
Class D Technology
It’s just dead quiet ie very low noise floor seemingly. Not sure why or how. Its a characteristic of both my BEl Canto Class D amps, but is especially noticeable with the all digital C5i integrated (no tubes upstream).
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Seriously I'd love to hear The Clinton's and Trumps systems.   Who does that better?  Inquiring minds want to know.  :)
Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Maybe a public presence at shows will lead to that. Those magazines, though.   Some seriously believe those are kinda rigged.   Money talks that's for sure.

Bass hump. Ouch! That’s the first I’ve heard that issue mentioned there but not uncommon. I might have brought a pair of Auralex subdudes along to set them on like I do at home on my second level (mine have no built in plinth underneath even). The ...
Best of Hits?
There is no rule that says  its exactly the same as any prior releases.   It may be in many cases but also may be different case by case.
NY Audio Show
One the Stereophile reviewers hit teh OHM room. They were new to him it seemed. He acknowledged the big sweet spot but seemed bothered by "ambience" of the sound. That’s was about it. Did have a picture. Maybe not an omni guy or used to that sound...
NY Audio Show
That’s a shame. I enjoyed Capital Audiofest this year. I heard many very good sounding rooms and others reported similarly. Who is going to spend the big bucks for this stuff if the sound is not in line?I think I read that CAF is moving to Novembe...
Class D Technology
I think a special niche for Class D, where it offers undeniable unique benefits that support better sound quality, is as a more practical  alternative to traditional big heavy expensive monster amps when lots of power and current is beneficial to ...
Do equipment stands have an impact on electronics?
It's not hard to detect vibrations. Just set a container of water on the subject and watch for ripples. It's natures natural vu meter for vibrations.    Of course be careful not to spill.
Class D Technology
It’s close minded to infer a product or technology is inferior or deficient just because one prefers something else. That’s all.
