Facts can be very boring. That’s a fact.Arguments are way more entertaining. Like that Monty Python sketch. It’s kinda like that right here now if you think about it.
Art Dudley Calls B.S. but without naming names - PLEASE DO!
No doubt wind power but no idea how much power those windmills on Amish farms can put out. Better be efficient Class D amps and efficient speakers to match! Here is a 100% true story. I used to have many Amish kids come into the Radio Shack I manag...
Art Dudley Calls B.S. but without naming names - PLEASE DO!
Hifiman, Fact is I grew up in Amish country so that kinda makes me an honorary Amish person. GK goes all the way with this as he is prone to do and mistakenly thinks I actually am an Amish person. Could be! My family teases me about my Amish-like ...

You could also send mental signals through thick glass like it were telegraph cables... You know, to create agony to intelligent people’s brains... That’s pretty scary considering how effective his constant barrage of useless posts are at creatin...

Some not necessarily expensive acoustic panels at primary wall reflection points to your main listening position may help. If so these would help similarly with the OHMs as well. With the OHMs, if you listen from more than one position, you might ...
How do Walsh Ohm Speakers compare to Thiels?
Good point by seanheis. You usually have to be able to sit further away from larger speakers with distance between drivers like those Thiels for them to image best and "disappear". Many speakers might fit that bill. OHM Walsh do very well in that ...

The best place in NYC
Harman store had ML and Revel and JBL home audio systems set up mostly in the basement when I was there last holiday season.
Talk but not walk?
Yes, the 1960’s back in the glory days of tubes and vinyl, when hifi ruled. Nobody cares about any of that anymore.....Hey wait!!!!!
Talk but not walk?
Last time I checked, High Fidelity was a good thing and what most here relentlessly seek to improve.
Talk but not walk?
Now back to more important things like that many splendored beast called home hifi.....
Talk but not walk?
Yes he does seem compelled to bring up something worthwhile on occasion. Then he proceeds to quickly ruin it.  Just like Godzilla ruins everything!  He needs to work on that!   It lowers his batting average for spouting the nonsense he   values ...

IS the Harman store still there in midtown?   Worth a visit if so.   The home audio setups are mostly hidden in the basement.
