Tawaundabomb,I think the original Walsh 2's are the speaker that has exposed the most people to the Ohm Walsh sound over the years. They used to be sold via a significant dealer network through the 80's and had a lot of exposure. Then Ohm went fac...
Thinking about selling Vinyl collection - long
If you are not certain about the actual fair value of items, auction is better. Reserve prices with any real meaning are often a put-off to buyers. I've found it best to start at a price well below value and let it go from there. If everything is ...
Internet radio stations that sound really good
Hy Lit radio.Baby boomers from eastern Pa/Philly area will recognize the name. The name does not relate to a state of (non) sobriety as far as I know.

If you go to a server, make sure you have hard copy backup capabilities. Otherwise, if the server dies and your source material (records or CDs) are gone, you could lose material.

If your cartridge is MM, the Music Hall Bellari phono pre-amp seems reasonably priced. Never heard it though.

Zk,YEs, I've had at least one pair of Ohms in my system for 30 years. I've been researching upgrades heavily for the last two years. Now, I own 3 pair of Ohms (2 Walsh design) as a result. MAggies and B&Ws have seen the door in the process.

The Music hall sounds like a very good cost effective option, if needed.

Wow. How does the Playback Designs accomplish what apparently other players cannot? What is the difference or new innovation in a technical sense? The designer must be doing something special or unique?

ZK,All I can say with certainty is that EVERY recording (good, bad and in-between) sounds more lifelike or "live" on my Ohms than any other speaker I've owned concurrently (Maggie, B&W, Dynaudio, Triangle) and been able to do direct a/b compar...
