Ohm Walsh Micro Talls: who's actually heard 'em?
Yes, I've never owned a parametric equalizer, but always thought them to be a practical and useful tool for tough rooms, particularly a quality one with flexible parameters. This is the McCormack amp now correct? I suspect that is a very good match...
Why do speakers recommend amp wattage?
The most practical reason is as a guideline to avoid distortion and speaker damage due to clipping by running an amp with too little power too loudly. In general, solid state amplifiers that deliver more current (amps) are able to better drive most...
The best speaker you ever heard?
The best sounds I've heard recently have come from Magico Minis, the latest and greatest large Maggies (20.?), PSB Synchrony, MBL 111s and my own OHM Walshes. Not to say these are categorically the "best", only the best sounding I have heard recent...

An honest opinion about upgrading?
Not familiar with those speaks and amp, but if those speaks are a difficult load as indicated and the amp isn't up to it, that is the place to focus. Look for a high current amp that mostly doubles output into 4 and 2 ohms. Class Ds are a possibil...

Always make sure what you already have is set up optimally in your room first before experimenting with changes.

How to listen to the Beatles re-releases?
