Cost Incurred to Achieve a Vinyl LP Replay
This thread has been an eye opener for me on the value of AI for editing a poster who apparently has compulsive logorrhea.  It hasn’t taught me anything about audio, as it is revisiting familiar ground.   AI always seems so useless in business ap...
Class A, A/B vs Class D amp Soundstage
It would help if the OP described what streamer and DAC he was using before and currently. As to his question about using a center channel for music, , I don’t see how to do this in his current setup
Contemporary Classical Composers - new discoveries
Define contemporary . For me that could mean mid twentieth century.
Minidsp connectivity issue
Can you go Bluesound out to mini DSP,then MiniDSP to the DAC?  That is how I use my miniDSP
Class A, A/B vs Class D amp Soundstage
I like CA streamers but haven’t heard their amps.  I suspect that this is more of an implementation issue.  Many megabuck audio companies such as Mark Levinson are using Class D in amps costing 5 figures and I haven’t seen a pattern of complaints ...
What to do with a large collection
I’ve tried giving away Classical CDs as I burned them to a server.  As per the OP, even libraries and charities aren’t interested.  My heirs will be stuck with a few thousand.

New Goldberg Variations
I read recently that the true creative impetus was that at the time, Bach was under attack by a prominent music academic for unnecessary complexity in his music, and JSB wanted to show that his contrapuntal mastery could be woven into music that w...
Anyone listen to Music on a FM tuner anymore?
My lp collection was destroyed in a flood in the mid eighties.  At the time I couldn’t afford new CDs, lps were disappearing, and I didn’t have much listening time anyway, but for several years my listening was about an hour of WFMT in the late ev...
Beethoven Symphonies
I heard Noseada conduct in New York, but no Beethoven on the program.  I was impressed
Anyone listen to Music on a FM tuner anymore?
I listen to a lot of internet radio, but it’s been at least 20 years since I had a dedicated analog tuner.  I did listen to WFMT in Chicago a few months ago with the analog tuner in my AVR in my HT system, but much prefer the digital stream on the...
New Goldberg Variations
I wish your friend luck, but there must be several hundred other recordings out there.  The music in endlessly inventive and fascinating
Mattresses, not stereos is where the money is
Everyone needs to sleep.  Not everyone needs to listen to music on high end systems.  Therefore more mattress stores than audio stores
Hearing problems and speaker upgrade
I am struggling with the same issue .  I decided against the new speakers
