Can a pair of BAT Rex II (Tube) mono block amplifiers make the Martin Logan Neoliths sing?
Martin Logan Summits we’re the best I had but not the biggest. Prior to the Summit s I had a ML speaker with 12 inch woofers but I cannot remember the model number. The woofers did not mesh well with the panels in my opinion so I sold them and got...
Can a pair of BAT Rex II (Tube) mono block amplifiers make the Martin Logan Neoliths sing?
Go for it. I have had several pairs of ML speakers over the years. I was powering them with a pair of Krell monos and I didn’t know what I was missing until I borrowed a Cary Audio 120 amp which simply destroyed the Krells. One of my buddies was t...
Led Zeppelin 11
I have purchased a few Better Records but not anywhere near the price of LZ II. Yes ,I did find them to be better than the recordings I already had including one half speed master. I would not look at them as an investment and I think Better Recor...
When You Buy The Whole Album And Only Like One Song.
@mitch4t we must be in the same age demographic as I too have had that experience. Lately I have found some additional enjoyable songs on albums that didn’t capture my attention at the time . As I age , I have also found artists I didn’t get or en...
Audiophile Grade Wall Receptacle
I also endorse the top of the line Furutech receptacles. I have tried hospital grade and Synergistic Research and although they they were better than the standard home receptacles the Furutech was an immediate and obvious  improvement over anythin...
Synergistic Orange and purple fuses popping
I have the same Cary pre-amp with the orange fuses and I didn’t have to go to a higher value. I also have some exotic 6F8G and Marconi BL-63 tubes installed in it. My Cary amps are another story however as they will blow at the stated fuse value n...
Synergistic Orange and purple fuses popping
I have the same preamp with the Synergistic Research orange fuses and have not had any issues. I have had problems with my Cary amps blowing Synergistic fuses however.
Am I a hopeless audio snob?
@OP I hear where you are coming from and from some of the posts above you are not alone. One of the tings I consider when buying a piece of gear is potential resale value. I think a good portion of the gear from the large Japanese audio manufactur...
Wadax Reference Dac and Reference Server--arrived in my room.
Congratulations. Very nice system you have. You are probably going to get some flak over the cost of your new components but looking at your system you are obviously an audiophile  and I look forward to hearing about your Wadax components.
Architectural Digest finally shows audio gear!
As a subscriber to AD for several years now I have often wondered if AD edits out stereo gear or if the 1% just aren’t into music like the members of Audiogon.
How much gear do you own?
I grew up in a military family and we moved every couple of years so I was brought up to either use it or lose it.Over the years I somewhat stayed from that and I had some gear that was to old or worn to bother with selling but still had some valu...
Introspective of this forum: "Does the Audiophile Community Have a Promlem?" I Say yes!!!
@tubebuffer  Thanks SG is a treasure and his video is spot on. If you haven’t heard  or experienced something how can you honestly comment? It would be great if a poster was honest upfront and states something to the effect “ I haven’t heard this ...
Short list of musical subwoofers
I would go with Rel as I have always found them to be very musical and easy to integrate into ones system.
Dust in the window
A good buddy of mine had two expensive phono cartridges ruined by his housekeeper while dusting. She kept her job after the first mistake but not the second time.
Thank you millercarbon
Oh oh the haters and doubters are going to jump all over this. Not only have you praised MC but the cable doubters will join the free for all .
